Terms & Cancellation Policy

Service

DriveMate provides a professional driver to drive the customer’s own car. The customer is responsible for the car being roadworthy, insured and carrying valid papers.

Booking and start

A trip starts only when the customer shares the 4-digit start OTP with the assigned driver, and ends only with the end OTP.

Fare

Package prices are shown before booking. Time beyond the package is charged in 30-minute steps at the extra-hour rate. A night charge applies to trips between 10 PM and 6 AM. Fuel, tolls and parking are paid by the customer.

Outstation

Outstation trips are charged per day and include the driver’s food and stay. For one-way trips the driver’s return fare is paid by the customer.

Cancellation

Bookings can be cancelled free before the driver arrives. Repeated late cancellations may be charged.

Damage and traffic fines

Fines caused by the driver’s driving are the driver’s responsibility. Damage claims are handled by the car’s insurance; report any incident to DriveMate support within 24 hours.

Payments

Pay the driver by cash or UPI, or pay DriveMate online when available. Ask for a receipt in the app.
